[S5E18] Frozen Gold ((EXCLUSIVE))

Zelena takes residence in Regina's castle in the Enchanted Forest, casting a protection spell around it. Regina manages to get into her castle through underground tunnels and destroys the protection spell. She is then confronted by Zelena who reveals that they are siblings, before expressing her plans of taking everything away from her, before leaving. After Baelfire and Belle manage to use the Vault of the Dark One and resurrect Rumplestiltskin, Zelena arrives and takes the dagger. When the third Dark Curse is cast by Snow White, Zelena interferes with it so that everyone who is transported by the curse loses their memories of the past year in the Enchanted Forest, before making a memory potion for herself and drinking it so that the curse doesn't tamper with her memories. The third Dark Curse then sends everyone back to Storybrooke, including herself. She becomes Snow White's midwife when she offers to help Snow White with her baby. Zelena meets David Nolan and slips Night-root into his tea, allowing her to take his courage in the representation of David's sword. Emma and Hook discover the Wicked Witch's house and they go into her storm cellar where they discover an empty cage with a spinning wheel and golden straw in it. They find Rumplestiltskin, who reveals Zelena's identity.

[S5E18] Frozen Gold

Torn between both Marian and Regina, Robin decides that since he is married to Marian, he must be with her. Marian is almost killed by Marshmallow, however Regina saves her and destroys Marshmallow, much to Marian's surprise. Ingrid later casts a frozen spell upon Marian, which is almost fatal until Regina rips her heart out before the ice can get to it. When Ingrid meets her demise, Regina restores Marian's heart, although remnants of the spell still linger inside her, so she leaves Storybrooke with Robin and Roland. At Baelfire's former apartment in New York, they are confronted by Rumplestiltskin, who suffers a heart-attack and ends up hospitalized. Marian later visits Rumplestiltskin in his hospital room where she reveals her true identity as Zelena, explaining that when he killed her, Zelena's life force opened the time portal and followed Emma and Hook into the past where she murdered Marian before posing as her on the way back to Storybrooke. Zelena gives Rumplestiltskin a potion that restores his health - and prevents him from ever being able to hurt Zelena - and in return Rumplestiltskin ensures that The Author gives Zelena a better life. Regina later calls Robin's phone, and is horrified when Zelena answers. Regina is told that if she refuses to help Rumplestiltskin corrupt Emma, then Zelena will kill Robin. Zelena also informs Regina that they will see each other again. Regina, Emma and Lily eventually go to New York and reveal to Robin that his "wife" is actually Zelena. He refuses to believe this until Zelena confirms it herself, but finds himself unable to leave. This confuses Regina until Zelena reveals she is pregnant with Robin's child. They take Zelena with them back to Storybrooke, where they put her in one of cells in the asylum. Regina even wanted from Author to erase half-sister from her life, but didn't do it.

An older Ubbe is seen playing with his little brothers, Hvitserk and Sigurd. One day while Aslaug is away, Ubbe and Hvitserk wander off by themselves and onto a frozen lake. Siggy pursues them, calling out their names. Despite hearing her, the boys ignore her cries for them to return. Suddenly, the ice breaks under their combined weight, and Siggy watches in horror as both boys plunge in. Without hesitation, she doffs her long cloak and dives right into the icy depths below, thus saving their lives, with the help of Harbard. Unfortunately her noble act costs Siggy her life, and she tragically drowns.

Ubbe and Hvitserk argue with Ivar over what to do next. The two older brothers want to make peace with the Saxons. But Ivar has bigger plans. He convinces them to take their forces and head north to York, where they can build themselves a stronghold and a staging arena for other battles to come. The brothers reluctantly admit that this is a sound strategy, and they head to York. Once there, Ubbe recalled an old lesson of Ragnar's: that it was always best to attack the Saxons during one of their special Saints' Days. They captured two young boys in order to find out when the next one would be, and then attacked the Saxon worshipers, slaughtering them all. Ivar took it another level by pouring the melted gold from the bishop's own cross into his mouth. Ubbe seemed moved by the nun who fell into his arms after she slit her own wrists. He lowered her body almost reverentially onto the floor of the church, staring into her eyes as the life left them. After the successful attack and occupation of the city, Hvitserk and Ubbe go to speak with Ivar. They are surprised to see that he now has bodyguards, who initially tried to stop them. Ubbe just stared them down until they stepped aside. They find Ivar getting a large snake tattooed on to his back, and ask him why he needs bodyguards. "Because I'm a cripple!" he states. However, he then shows his brothers the newly created leg braces and crutches that were specially made in order for him to walk on his own.

This is what we wanted.Cinderella: There's something else. When we met that night at the ball, it wasn't my Fairy Godmother who sent me. It was Rumplestiltskin. I made a deal with him for this life. I was stupid. I didn't understand the price of magic. So I promised him something.Prince Thomas: What did you promise him?Cinderella: He tricked me. I thought that he'd want our gold or jewels...Prince Thomas: What was it? (Cinderella holds her stomach.) Our baby?Cinderella: I'm so sorry. And now I'm gonna lose it all, my...my life, you.Prince Thomas: No. I don't care what that imp said. Magic may have brought us together but it didn't create this love.Cinderella: But I made a deal. I can't break that. He's too powerful.Prince Thomas: Then the answer is simple. We make another deal.

Cinderella: Why are we down here?Prince Thomas: We need a place to keep him.Prince Charming: Rumplestiltskin is the most dangerous man in all the realms. He needs his own special prison, so we converted the mines to hold him.Cinderella: But how will we get him here? He has eluded all forever.Grumpy: His strength is also his weakness. His deals. He can't resist making them, and we already know who he wants to deal with next, you.Prince Charming: We've sent word with one of Snow's bluebirds. He's accepted a meeting with you. You're going to tell him that Doc heard something with his stethoscope, two heartbeats.Prince Thomas: You're going to tell him it's twins.Prince Charming: And if he wants both, which he will, you propose a new deal. Grumpy... (Grumpy opens a box containing a quill).Cinderella: A quill, I... I don't understand.Grumpy: The Blue Fairy cast a spell on it. Whoever signs with this will be frozen, their magic made impotent.Prince Charming: All you must do is get him to sign the contract. Ella, this man is a scourge. You will be doing the entire land a service.Cinderella: Should we even use magic? Isn't that what's has causing these problems to begin with? What if this magic also has a price?Prince Thomas: Then I will pay it. I will do whatever is needed to save you and our child.Prince Charming: Let's go. (They venture further into the mine's and arrive at a cell)Grumpy: I hope you like it. A lot of dwarf blood went into it.Cinderella: You sure this will work?Prince Charming: Once he is in there he'll never get out. You'll be safe.Prince Thomas: We can do this, Ella.Cinderella: Okay. Let's get him.
